چکیده
Non-cirrhotic portal hypertension (NCPH) is a poorly understood condition attributed to various causes in the absence of liver cirrhosis. One important and rare conditions leading NCPH myeloproliferative neoplasms blood coagulation abnormalities, which infiltrate cells stasis raised sinusoidal pressure. We present case 40-year-old male who presented our emergency department with complaints hematemesis Malena was later diagnosed associated chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). This report emphasizes importance considering like CML while evaluating such cases.

متن کاملIgA nephropathy in non-cirrhotic portal hypertension.
Renal glomerular changes are a well recognised complication of cirrhosis and are frequently characterised by mesangial IgA deposition. We report a patient with non-cirrhotic portal hypertension who developed IgA nephropathy and a nephrotic syndrome with renal histological changes classically associated with cirrhosis. Splenectomy with resection of a splenic artery aneurysm resulted in remission...
متن کاملChronic oral arsenic intoxication as a possible aetiological factor in idiopathic portal hypertension (non-cirrhotic portal fibrosis) in India.
Estimates were made of the arsenic concentration in liver specimens from nine patients having idiopathic portal hypertension (IP), and in four livers these were found to be significantly higher than those in patients with cirrhosis and in control subjects. The splenovenogram revealed extensive portosystemic collateral circulation. Corrected sinusoidal pressure and blood flow studies showed high...
متن کاملDural metastases in chronic myeloid leukemia presenting as subdural hematoma.
Subdural hematoma (SDH) has been reported in 0.5-4% of all intracranial metastatic tumors. Chronic SDH has been reported in intracranial metastases from both solid and haematological malignancies. Here we report recurrent SDH in a patient with chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) following dural metastases. An elderly male patient a known case of CML was admitted to our casualty with...
